Joanna Crosse is an internationally recognised voice trainer, facilitator and coach both inside and outside the media, having worked for 30 years in the field of National and Regional TV and Broadcasting as a presenter and news reader, as well as in print publishing. She is the voice and presentation coach for the ITV News network and trains for the BBC, GMTV and C4.
Joanna is the author of four published books, and having been on opposite sides of the microphone, she knows what the media wants and how to give the best interviews.
She is also a regular media trainer for Random House authors, and has spent many years as a media trainer for the Police.
Her work as a voice coach has shown over the past decade there are simple ways to transform your voice – literally – on all levels. She has worked with thousands of individuals many of whom claim the work has opened up new doorways of opportunities and expanded their personal growth. Joanna has not only helped people visibly and audibly improve in the professional broadcast arena but has helped many people overcome speech problems such as stammering and poor pronunciation.
She has been encouraged by many people to write a new book on simple ways to use our voice and be heard. Find Your Voice is the result.

Find Your Voice is an inspirational guide containing practical examples and exercises designed to help anyone from any walk of life improve their communication skills and raise their game.
The Concept Our voice is an expression of who we are. Finding our voice is not just a physical concept. It is about discovering who we are as a person and what our mission is in life. The book will show how to overcome the psychological blocks that can stop us from finding our true voice.
Success means different things to different people. In this age of celebrity more people than ever before want to find their moment of fame. As the media diversifies and expands there are countless opportunities to do just that whether through websites such as MySpace and Youtube or on one of the countless TV reality shows like X Factor or Big Brother.
But there is a myth that somehow we need to be someone other than ourselves to get there or to find success in our chosen field. Joanna Crosse has discovered through personal and professional experience that being yourself is the key to guaranteed success. She shows us how easy it is to empower ourselves through clear and effective communication.
One of the aims of this book is to debunk the myths about voice and presentation skills and provide a simple guide to improving communication in all walks of life, looking at practical ways to improve our voice and the message we want to deliver.
Each section will be illustrated with inspirational true life examples of how people from schoolchildren to well known celebrities have achieved what they wanted through the power of their voice.
