David Parker's and Dawn Lester's careers combine the worlds of academe with business management, accountancy, electrical engineering, physics and chemistry.

Over a number of years their interests and research have extended into science, philosophy, mysticism & metaphysics. Bringing together the wisdom of the east with the science of the west in a way that provides new and exciting insights for the lay student, they created the Nature of Reality Courses, conducted both ‘live’ around the UK, and enjoyed online within discussion groups via the internet by a large cross-section of people worldwide in over 25 countries, with the USA providing the largest number of participants.

In March 2007 an mp3 audio download version of the Nature of Reality Course was produced, available worldwide via the internet, and in September 2007 a double CD set of the audio course was produced, now available through Amazon.com.

The Nature of Reality Course explores correlations between the ancient wisdom of the east and the modern science of the west in an exciting, accessible and above all practical way for the general reader. Quantum physics proposes that the apparent ‘materiality’ of the world is no more nor less ‘real’ than a dream image; that ‘consciousness’ is a vital element in understanding the true nature of reality. This perspective brings science closer towards that held by ancient eastern philosophies over thousands of years. However, neither quantum physics nor eastern philosophy explains these concepts in practical terms for the lay reader. This book sets out to achieve just that.

• The book is aimed at the large and ever-growing market of people who are dissatisfied with the world view presented by so-called mainstream sources.

• It requires no previous knowledge of science, religion or philosophy, just an open and enquiring mind.

• It sets out challenging concepts such as that past, present and future exist simultaneously; thtat there is no ‘out there’ out there; that we do not have a fixed past any more than we have a fixed future; and that ‘spiritual’, ‘physical’ and ‘death’ are mere concepts within consciousness.

• The Course is divided into 9 modules which develop the concepts required to understand the nature of reality and the meaning of life.

• Each module ends with a set of ‘test yourself’ questions for readers to assess their progress.

• The book is unique in offering radical new insights into the meaning of life not found elsewhere.
