The Diagnostic Clinic Book Series 'All you need to know about…' will primarily be aimed at the lay person and written in a style and format similar to the successful Family Encyclopaedia of Health, initially published in 1998 and reprinted in 2002.

The intention is to separate the main themes within the Encyclopaedia, update the subject matter, introduce broader and clearer sections on diagnostic tests and investigations, and expand greatly on the dietetic and nutritional information.

The overall aim is to build up a minimum of ten books based on health, wellbeing, achieving optimum performance as well as dealing with illnesses commonly associated with that particular age group. (See list of suggested titles below).

There will be scope for further specific books on major conditions such as heart disease and strokes (arterial health), cancer, asthma, allergies and intolerance, etc.

A major focus of the series will be to differentiate the effective from the ineffective, both in therapies and specific treatments.

A major aspect will be the promotion of Food State Nutritional Supplementation as opposed to isolate or pharmaceutically made vitamins.

For this reason the book will be co-written with Eric Llewellyn, the pioneer and world expert on 'Food State' materials.

The diet and nutritional advice will be simple and practical and drive the reader into an understanding of the 'new' concept of Functional Foods.
